Rank the IEM's you've heard

NRG X Symphonized = Jvc wood series (very) "inspired", so too speak ? 🤔😉
Interesting. We'll see. I don't have any experience with the JVCs up until now. I really loved the sound of the NRGs when I first opened the box......but after about 35 hours of burn-in it sounded like they had lost that 'wow effect'.

I'm hoping that it will come back soon (I don't play them with a lot of volume, so I don't believe I've blown out the drivers). This might just be a normal phase of burn-in, IDK.

But then again, 'burn-in' might just be in the user's head.

You are in luck that there are 3 JVC woodies on big discounts at (MASS)DROP now:

1) JVC HA FD01
https://drop.com/buy/jvc-ha-fd01-iem
$300 -> $129 USD

2) JVC HA FW1800 (this is the International version of the FW1500 which was sold in Japan)
https://drop.com/buy/jvc-ha-fw1800-iem-drop-exclusive
$599 - > $219 USD

3) JVC HA FWX1
https://drop.com/buy/drop-jvc-ha-fwx1
$449 -> $179 USD

Well the 4th is a TWS:

4) JVC HA-FW1000T
https://drop.com/buy/ha-fw1000-tws-iem
$350 -> $149 USD

Have pulled the trigger on the HA FW1800, currently waiting for them to ship. A friend of mine who has it says the wooden drivers/shell really gives a very nice timbre, though perhaps it isn't as technical as similarly priced competitors.

Yep, this the same JVC I was talking about. It is discounted to $219 USD now on massdrop, so quite a substantial discount.
Wow, yes I might have to check this one out. Many years ago I used to spend a lot of money on this type of gear. I took a very long break, but it seems like I am getting back into this (very bad?) habit once again :laughing::money_mouth::joy::upside_down:

Thank you! Sennheiser ie 600 is in my opinion a right mix of fun and technicalities together. It's a headset that I listen to for hours without ever getting tired. It does not have the technicalities of Indigo Sultan and Thunder, but the level is still high. To date, I find it the best in terms of value for money heard. I find it superior to Ie900 as a general balance. The fit then (together with Ie 900) is the best for me to date.
Ordered my ie600. Excited . Best sound I've had is my Sony XM3s overears

The Thunder and KK are great - Mezzo is super versatile. The MM will likely be taking #1 here soon though.
