Trying to decide between LCD-3 and LCD-X. Does anyone know which would be better for EDM? Such as Odesza which is more chill that dance music I think.
I know the LCD-3 weigh more, but is the LCD-X weightless? If anyone has any direct comparisons would be appreciative. I will be running either headphone through a Gumby and Mjonlir 2 chain.

Sennheiser RS 185 (good sq, with convenience over sq of HD 600)
Sennheiser HD600 (best sq)
Sennheiser PX210 BT (2nd most convenient )
Sennheiser HD598 (best soundstage, bit uncomfortable for my big ears)
Sennheiser HD565 (needs a refurb - cable connections stink. but what a classic sound wise)
Beyer Dynamic 501P (good compromise of sq and practicality for closed portable. pity about the cable)
ATH ESW9 (best looking! best sounding closed portable)
Sennheiser PX200 (more robust than they look - good for train)
ATH ES7
Sennheiser PX100 (good for the money)
Sennheiser HD 414 (had since new - seen better days)

(Edit : this is hard! have changed this three times now ! Its hard to balance my need for a reasonably portable closed headphone for traveling, against my preference for an open headphone for home listening. And how to rate the importance of wireless in the mix? )

1) HiFiMAN HE1000 (only heard on several occasions but always pleasure, these have everything what quality sound should have)
2) Audeze LCDX (1month borrowed, adult sound, very natural, universal, easy drive, great headphone what to wish more)
-
3) HiFiMAN HE500 (1month borrowed, universal sound, character between dynamic and planar headphone, it is better headphone than LCD2 but strangely I would rather own LCD2)
Audeze LCD2 (loved them, but LCDX is better in every way, these was too much dark but still very very good with neutral colder system)
Alessandro MS PRO ultimate (sounds fresh, light, airy, exciting, punchy, music flow, very unique, anyway hard to rank them)
Sennheiser HD800 (1 month borrowed, it is better headphone technicaly 2 place but sound character not for me)
7) Sennheiser HD600 (very good headphone for price)
8) Audio Technica AD2000 (always missed with them something)
-
9) Grado SR225 (action sound, good for some type of music)
10) Grado SR60 (first heapdhone liked them in past)

Heard almost everything HE60, O2mk1, 009, L700, K1000, Utopia, Elear, Ether, LCD3, HE560 etc. but not enough to judge rank them.
Would like to hear Abyss AB-1266 Phi though but for these prices if I will return to headphone LCDX (or MX4) or HE1000v2 are sure for me...
