So things have changed... The AKG K872 was a little to sterile for my tastes.. but none the less a beautiful headphone if one prefers neutral... almost flat headphones. As a result, I exchanged it for another SE846 and SE215BT.

I also picked up the MrSpeakers Aeon, and I have to say I enjoy this headphone a lot with the foam filters installed.

It was time for me to revisit this thread after many years off canvas. You see, work and moving has been eating up most of my time, leaving me little if any time to discuss headphones. Plus, I have greatly reduced my headphone collection after buying so many "good" pairs years ago.

It's now down to three headphones that I have in my regular rotation (there are a few other headphones that I still own but I won't mention those since I have not been using them much). These three are (in the order of my own personal preference):

nothing wrong with the HD800, its just that I don't use them that often, I ranked the headphone in the order of how much I use each.
