The Shure SRH1540.  Barely talked about on Head-fi.  An excellent HP at a reasonable price & worth every penny.

But don't take my word for it :

The harmon kardon cl is probably the most under popular According to digital trends, it is better than the martinlogan mikros 90 (keep in mind this is a can that supposedly rivals $300 headphones) in pretty much everything except for highs and soundstage. There is a bunch of mikros 90 fans but there is pretty much nothing on head fi for the harmon kardon cl

Actually these are quite popular and as of lately they have been recommended quite a lot around here. Heck, even Jude made a video about them (you can find it on headfi's Youtube channel).

I'm still not that experienced on Head-fi.  I've looked for threads like "Shure SRH appreciation thread" & only found a few threads with not too many posts in them.  I didn't know about the head-fi Youtube channel either.  Live & learn.  Thanks.

Wanted to add what I think is a fantastic and underrated headset to this thread; the Plantronics Rig.

Now that I've had them for a while, I still think they are a great buy. They are well built, exceptionally comfortable, come with a USB amp (which is nice and all, but I wish they sold it separately), and have a slightly v-shaped signature. Treble is crisp, bass has punch, and the mids are slightly recessed, but never overshadowed. The sound they output is very smooth, never aggressive, and works well with all genres I've tested them with. Overall they seem like a great all-rounder.

Anyone else here have a pair?

I would like to add the Onkyo es-fc300 red, violet, or white headphones... These Headphones are very great...  the hf300 with the "better cable" is actually worse. the cable tends to lose sounds after a week.... I've had both

Meelectronics A161P.

It not underrated as such, Just not popular enough.

Still having trouble finding a bettter IEM ( even spending >200$ at times), have tried UE 600 vi, DBA 02 mkII, and RBH EP2.. Still missing A 161P ( quick bass, highly enjoyable mids, gentle treble ) and returning stuff.

Quest for an upgrade goes on.

Monoprice earphones 9397 are $13 plus shipping, but imo it sounds better than any best buy/walmart headphones under $100 and I think it's very nice to listen to and form-fitting to my ears, can wear for very long times. Very often I would use these instead of my tf10 because of how comfortable it was and because I thought it sounded more pleasant and neutral, but of course less detail and less timbre than tf10. It's also quite more comfortable than my dn2000. Some reviewers complain about fit, but damn, I really love how it fits in my ears and distributes weight all across the body of the earphones.

From what I've heard from others, Beyer DT-150/250 (250 ohm). Hope to try one soon.

If u like a neutral, balanced, big sounding signature...this is a treasure.  ( just snagged an old pair  at a bargain price :p)

I cranked up the volume on some disco beat, and the drivers were reverberating on my ears , whew...love this can.
