Headphones you regretted buying the most

They sounded pretty good but I found them way too uncomfortable. The weight didn't bother me too much, but the headband did, gave me headaches.
Fortunately they were really easy to sell and I got all my money back.
It's going to sound odd, but I much prefered my HE-400s that I unfortunately sold to upgrade to the Audeze.

THIS. I went though this A few months back.

ATH CKM500's. I love them for what they are, but the high mids are seriously harsh for my ears. Although I kinda want another magnetic pouch from Audio Technica so I can use it as a money pouch xD

Fostex T50RP's. Probably one of the most underused headphone over $150 on my rack. Either I suck at modifying headphones, or I just don't like the sound of them. It's most likely that I suck at modifying headphones :p

OK I didn't exactly BUY them but sorta kinda traded for them, but Sennheiser HD428. Hollow tinny sound. I've owned several pairs of $20 to $40 IEMs that sounded much more natural and much better (Senn ie4, cx475, cx275, Pioneer  721Ks) and my HD280 Pros as well. Honestly they just sound like cheap $20 low end no name headphones.

Well I spent weeks modding them too and gave up. Just don't like the sound and regret having gotten swept away with all the hyperbole surrounding them.

  KEF M500
They were overpriced and had a very disappointing sound signature.

you just said a curse word lol... I have never heard them but wouldn't be surprised if I felt the same. what would you recommend over those?

Sony XB-500 - rubbish
Denon AH-D340 - worth half of what they cost
