KZ's IEMs deserves a space in the Discovery Thread. Besides, the majority of IEMs talked about here on this thread are Chinese brands. As far as KZ's current drama, I'm with you on that. Until Head-Fi decides to ban KZ outright, I think it's fine to mention noteworthy KZ releases on the DT.

I'm not a fan of Tyvan either on the FB pages but a lot of the hype reviewers (Crinacle, HBB, etc) can be equally annoying in their own ways of attempts at gate-keeping the hobby.

Chord Hugo 2 comes to mind. After that, take your pick from the flagship high-end DAPs from Astell&Kern, Cayin, Luxury&Precision and Ibasso. All of them feature USB-DAC mode. Look into it.

I would think the vast majority of us discussing dongles here are using the 4.4mm output. There are a few 2.5mm dongle still out there in production and some 3.5mm only ones too but they’re starting to become rare at this point. 4.4mm seems to be the standard now if you’re into USB dongle dac/amps.
