Thank you Westone for amazing service (RMA out of Warranty).
Hey gang, haven't posted here in ages, but had to give a shout out to Westone customer service. Had my UM2 for over half a decade, using them religiously while jogging. Then not too long ago the left monitor stopped working. Looked up prices for a new pair, and immediately decided to send...- t10

Roxbox is frozen on 5.5g ipod. How do I reset the player?
Thank you guys. I did try that, but not for 5-10 seconds. Lesson learned. The rockbox just shut itself off a few mins ago, so all back to normal- t10

Roxbox is frozen on 5.5g ipod. How do I reset the player?
Rockbox hung up. It does not respod to any commands (it is on). The screen dims; if I touch the scrollwheel it lights back up. But other than that, completely dead. Normally I would pull the battery... but you know :P And yes, I did try shutting it down. Will I have to wait until it runs...- t10

Which Ipod has better HEADPHONE OUTPUT sound quality - the 6G Classic or the 5.5G?
I dislike both stock, but 5.5G with Rockbox is quite good. Which is confusing considering I do not EQ Rockbox, almost as if flat apple EQ setting, is not flat at all.- t10

Pictures of your portable rig part VIII
Got a Shuffle for jogging: Unfortunatelly the hiss with UM2s was unbearable, it was noticable at any given tollarable volume. Loved the construction of the unit, but had to return it. Got myself one of these: Am loving it so far, 2 gigs, cheaper than the shuffle, sonic stage is...- t10

2nd gen Shuffle static noise
Bought an orange 2nd gen shuffle today. Hisses with stock buds slightly, hisses like a pissed of cat with my UM2s. Needless to say am not happy, as I like the player itself. Will be returning it tomorrow to best buy- t10

best player for running? Sony NW-S205F?
I run regularly, and was intrigued by S205F, even went to the sony store to pick it up, but on location, decided not to buy it. I clip my player to my shorts/pants, and S205 does not come with a clip, only arm strap. Not sure how long your runs are, but I do not want anything strapped to my...- t10

Any Canadians want to do a group buy on the new Shure Foam Sleeves?
Well, seeing as how they are now available from Shure Canada, it is pointless to do a group buy from earphone solutions. $9 shipping is reasonable. Plus you wont be hit with brokeage fees. I will just buy some other stuff too, to soften the $9 shipping charge- t10

IEM's hitting 50hz and under?
For Chemical Brothers & Crystal Method, Shure E4c would slightly be on the lean side imo. SF5Pro would be better. Considering the OP wants bass, it is hard to suggest E4c as it is more of a neutral IEM, even lean I would say. PS. Am listening to Trip like I Do, right this moment, Go CM- t10

Quick camera lens question, what do the numbers on the lens mean?
I recently bought a Sony T10 ultracompact, and I do not think it suits me. Took it to the autoshow with me the other week, and the field of view is so tiny on the thing, that I need to move a mile a way to capture the entire car in a shot. Looking at DPreview, I figured I need a cam with a...- t10

kramer5150, am surprised to see the Muvo Micro/N200 as your source. I use Muvo N200 with UM2s for jogging, and I must say it sounds fairly poor. Sound signature feels distant, like you are not there with the artist, no warmth to it at all. Even cnet complained about SQ with N200. The...- t10
