Need help buying a sub-200 DAP/PMP.
well if you say ur rig sounds like the fuze then you should just stick to it, anything higher is basically adding a decent amp to the dap, s:flo2 has quality problems and ui problems, where the ui problems seems to be a problem with the 'higher tier' mp3 players, try to look into small and slim...- milford302009

Soundstage and IEM Theory
i agree with Daniel also u don't want reflection to occur.. otherwise residue noise would affect the sound... and they're really hard to control... refraction? that implies the density of air/ear canal inside the IE8 changes? i doubt you would want diffraction, reflection or refraction to...- milford302009

any good portable dac/amp for D5000?
i have the D10, and it sounds excellent with the D2000s, they sound 'ok' with the stock opamps (or any of the opamps that came with the D10) you simply have to try the D10 with opamps Hiflight provides cheaply... they just sound much better... it's comparable to my Corda Aria with a smaller...- milford302009

Volume imbalance in IE8 - any solutions?
if ur running out of ideas you can try getting the wax out (or poke it in) with a needle atleast it might fix it... otherwise you'll have to take it a part, the screw is behind the cover in the 'inside' (other side from the bass knob)- milford302009

iBasso D10 + Little Dot MK III = ?
well i don't think the dac would make a huge difference actually, if your using a cdplayer u've got L/R, if ur using a pc may as well plug it into the line out, the only reason you would want the D10 that i can think of is that the device only has an optical output or that your using a desktop...- milford302009

Shure SE530 , Bose quiet comfort 3 or Sennheiser IE8
i have the E500(same as SE530) and the IE8, i'd pick the IE8 over the shure, the shure sounds boring to my ears, while IE8 has a beat to it that i can't put my finger on... btw my E500's cable died ages ago (like you can see the metal but still usable).. sent it 2 shure, took nearly 2 months...- milford302009

ACS T1 Reviews - anyone seen any good ones?
na customs and custom tips are completely different, it's how they position the drivers and how the sound comes together after it reaches the end of the tip.... alot of iems use similar drivers, it's the shape and design that sets them apart...- milford302009

go for higher end iems such as the w3? or the HD25 seems to be recommended alot if your looking for closed headphones... but i have not used either, i've only used (some lower end stuff) IE8(which seems to fit your bill with good soundstage and bass the down side is you have to play around with...- milford302009
