I still have no idea how that happened!?  I purchased my M-80s years ago for $179 and I still think they were worth the investment.

Now that the EPH-100 has gone back up to $150 on Amazon, I'm considering Creative Aurvana 3 ($70) or Denon AH-C300 ($89), both at Amazon. I listen to all types of rock, but have no idea which of these would be better. Both have good reviews at Head-Fi....but I can't find a direct comparison of the two.

Yeah esteebin, but I'm having second thoughts after reading some of the questions and answers on Amazon......i.e. one said that are just average, and returned for refund. Maybe, I'd be better off with one or both of the other two that I mentioned previously.....analysis, paralysis...........

I too have not pulled the trigger. After looking at funds and the upcoming cruise trip (plus the bevy of other IEMs I already have) I need to account for excursions and souvenirs. Curious about your impressions on the Aurvana 3 though.

When BestBuy had them I compared them with the SL150's and the UE6000's.  I liked the UE6000s the most (bought them for $99), then the SL150s, with the SL300s a distant third.

My impressions are limited to the reviews I've read on Head-fi....which seem to be positive. Initially, I was and still am intrigued by the  two microBalanced Armature Tweeter and Woofer on each side that it has for $70. I'm not a bass head (although, I do enjoy a good "thumping" if its not overly done to the point of distortion), but more of a mid centric person (my J3 prefers this sound.....although I have other Cowon products, along with a couple of Sony's, and a couple of Clip+'s ...for a refurb price of $20, these can't be beat).
