That's a great price on an excellent earphone. As has been mentioned before, I think Sony is clearing off the first run of the XBA line. The XBA-30's (as well as the XBA-40's) are already selling in Japan.
I also ordered a pair for myself. I missed the groupon deal, and kinda regret it so I figure I'd give it a try now, even though I am quite tight on cash lol. Someone mentioned in another forum where I posted this deal that it's by a 3rd party but fulfilled by amazon, so they said to be careful with fakes. As far as I know, there hasn't been spotting of fake copies of these right?
I figure I am still an amateur, but I should be able to listen and differentiate fakes from reals based on SQ alone (or so I hope LOL)
If anything, they should at least sound much better than my klipsch x10 and Meelec a161p - or I will be sending them back pronto! lol
Yeah I would love a comparison review. My original goal for IEMs was the 535, so I would love to see what your thoughts are. Although, I can already assume that the 535 would knocks the socks off the xba3ip. If the difference is minor though, I would be quite happy because I don't have the extra $400ish for the 535 lol

I doubt the difference is minor, so your socks will probably be staying off for a while lol. They have good Bass for a BA, no sibilance and a good size soundstage, but IMO the sound comes through a little disjointed and unnatural. I think the UE 700 with comply tips sound better (except the bass). I've read on a few reviews that if you amp these they sound a lot fuller, but that defeats the purpose of the control talk.I 'm using them with apple lossless unamped through my iPhone 4. For $134 there're not to bad though. Looking forward to your guys impressions of them.

Once I get them I will share my impressions when comparing both the SE535 LTD and the XBA-3ip, I am no expert doing reviews but I will do the best I can to make sense.
Refurb Senn. Amperiors for 200 + shipping ($40 to Canada). I'm really tempted to get these but the seller doesn't have much feedback as a seller. I'm a little afraid, but seems like a good price!
