Lol, I bought one pair, saw that the Sony XBA-3s where $120 through Groupon, bought those and had I been awake, would have gotten the A-151 as well.

Going all out, I see. LOL

Enjoy your pack of new IEMs.

I totally don't need a pair of UE700s, so naturally, I just purchased them.

I had thought really hard about getting them before I got my W1s. And while I like my W1s a lot, they don't fit me very well... so I'm kind of open to a sidegrade if the deal is as good as this.

Definitely a sound upgrade from W1, even I think UE700 sounds better than W2

Having owned both the UM2 and the UE700, I'd say the sound quality is pretty much on par between those two.  Comfort-wise, the UE700 is miles ahead, though.  They are probably the most comfortable IEMs I've ever tried.

Good to hear. These are going to be my commuting phones, not "top tier" listening... but I'll take great sound where I can get it. And comfort is a big bonus. The Westones are really not very compatible with my ears... but the UE700s look very similar to my beloved GR10s, fitwise.

These will be my first two BA IEMs, I've never listened to a balanced armature IEM so I'm looking forward to getting these.

Based on what you've kept vs what you've gotten rid of, I think you'll like BAa.  Might be a little brighter than what you're used to in general, but you'll get used to it soon enough.  Looking forward to your thoughts on these.

How do the UE700 handle bass? I listen to a lot of EDM and love my Westone 3s for that. I also like the miles Davis tribute but sold them because the blue cable was a bit too flashy for me and have been debating on picking up the turbine gold on amazon for $150. But these IEM deals are so hard to pass up!

IIRC not a lot of mid bass but it goes really deep ^^

I find the sound signature of theUE700 to be similar ti the TF-10, with easier ear fit. Haven't listened to them in a while (spend my time trying to listen to all the rediculous purchases/great deals I've found on this site! Try to listen tonight to refresh my memory.

Thanks! I'm thinking the sound sig on these will be similar to the Monnprice 8320.
