Should i cop the Sony MH1C or the RE-ZERO on clearance?

Unfortunately I cannot say because I have not heard the RE-Zero.

However I had the same decision to make.  I purchased the MH1C because of the controller/mic and the fact that it was one-third the price ($20 vs. $60).  It was delivered a day or two after I ordered it with Amazon prime.

I am very happy with the MH1C's, although just starting to give them serious listening.  They effectively control my android phone and the mic works fine with it.  (I use an android app called "headset button" for around $3 to make that work.)

ClieOS gave SQ rating a lot more to MH1C than RE0..

Hello everyone, Just subbed after lurking a bit just wanted to say "hey" and share a deal, see you all around the block...

AtrioX MG5's for 39.96 over at TigerDirect
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=526329&SRCCODE=WEBCRITAP&cm_mmc_o=-KeCjC2ybfwBCjCqHa-q7HaGW7CjC-gfbMw%20VkAl

I haven't heard about these though I own a pair of CC51's and just got my MH1C in the mail today...Like everyone else I'm favoring the MH1's over the CC51's for the music I listen to, currently doing ediT's Crying over prose for no reason VERY well, giving just the right amount of bass I felt the CC51's weren't delivering...Peace

I love them, and I'm about to buy them again. I usually buy them for around $50, this $39.96 has been the best deal I've seen for Atrio X in the last few years.

PS: tigerdirect also sells the microphone version for the same price:

Nice. Might you have any impressions on these headphones, Bass, mids and highs? I don't have much references as you see but I would be curious on what others had to say about these, would consider picking them up..

oh man.
good friends and fellow head-fiers.
If you still have not gotten those Sony MH1c's,
you're missing out on something amazing.
It's only $20.
oh wait. it's risen to $25 but it's DEFINITELY worth the purchase.
