LOL exactly! partly why i wasnt even expecting the UE700. I was a bit disappointed with their selection of headphones. As tempting as these are at 95 i think im just going to stick with my Westone 3 and pass on this deal.

I am guessing it's because Gratitude has iphone mic/controls, and tuned differently (endorsed by Earth Wind & Fire, versus Yao Ming).

Tempting...I bought the refurbished Turbine Pros for $50 through Monster's outlet site and they held up for a bit but the plug just went sour on mine after about 5 months of heavy daily use. In comparison, I had a brand new pair of Pro Golds last about a year and a half after the same heavy treatment. So my only suggestion is to consider that if you get a refurb, you could be getting one with a fair amount of wear already on the plug, assuming they don't put new plugs on all their refurbs.
 
The Klipsch S4A I just bought seems flimsy in comparison so I'm going to take it back and I did manage to wear out the music control button on a Sony MDR-EX38.This time I'm going with another set of new Turbine Pros with the 1-time replacement warranty. I really enjoy the sound and form factor and the isolation of the Turbine line for heavy everyday use.

For the record, this, along with TF10 and MTPC, are my favourite 3 IEM's...UE700 is superb across all genre, so small and comfy, can even be worn while sleeping...

Maybe I missed it but I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the V-Moda M-80s for $155.90 on Amazon.  According to the three camels, this is the lowest price they have been.
