I wonder if I call them and ask for free shipping they'd give.

Well, they didn't process my order for $129.. They sent an email saying I have to pay shipping so now it's like ~$140. lame. Though, that's still better than buying for $170 w/ free shipping from someone like B&H or Sweetwater...

Ummmm, guys, it's not really $129.99.

You have to apply the $40 off at cart, which brings $169 down to $129. HOWEVER, this disqualifies you from free shipping. The cheapest shipping option is $11.75 (at least, for me). So the totally came out to be $141.

Anybody had luck actually getting these for $129.99? Maybe adding in a $20 filler? (Although that would rather defeat the purpose)

They try to get you to pay shipping after the order went through?

Not cool.

I saw this too.  I'm wondering if this is the best discount possible for higher end universal IEMs?  I've been wanting to get a good price on Westone UM3Xs for a while, and I'm thinking this might be the time to go for it.

They did 25% off for Black Friday sale last year, I am waiting for another one of their 25% off sale as I would love to buy the W4R

Good deal? SoungMagic PL50 for $45 shipped. http://www.amazon.com/Soundmagic-PL50-In-ear-Headphones/dp/B002K7FZBA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1330255535&sr=8-2

I want to get a good quality IEM and I'd like to experience something with a neutral sound signature. I wonder how this thing would do...

It's because "**PROMO CODES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE and may only be redeemed using the Newegg account attached to this e-mail address."
They only mail you the promo code for the Yamaha 50% off code if you've recently purchased something from NewEgg.

Just an FYI, I tried via chat to get NewEgg to allow me to use the Yamaha 50% off code, FAIL.....
