They told me that the first time too, it depends on the rep. The second rep I chatted with refunded me the difference with no issues.

Seems like these have been slowly dropping over the last few months.  I bought mine about 4 weeks ago at $210 thinking they may have hit bottom.

I did the same! Then when they dropped to 197 I returned mine and bought them again....which happened yesterday. Now I gotta do the same over again, great....

I thought the same thing... But apparently my sister was able to get a check from Amazon since she found a better laptop at Best Buy and she bought the one from Amazon with gift cards; granted I don't think they had shipped by that point.
