Here you go.  The neck has changed which is much more flexible and I noticed the metal weight is less, but the sound hasn't changed.  I was taken by surprise of the ear guides.  It appears to be made of heavy gauge wire and very bendable to custom suit the shape of behind the ear. However, I think the copper colored ends are a little overboard.  Enjoy!

Personally, I find the ear hooks to be one of the most useless accessory for IEMs. The whole point of having the IEM going over your ear is to reduce microphonics. The ear hook pretty much just make sure the Coppers won't fall off your ear, but if you get a good seal, it's nearly impossible to have them fall out of your ear. I think this is Monster's way of trying to satisfy audiophile, by including a useless hook.

+1, I had hoped the hook was also a cable guide

Ear hooks work for me, my Sunrise wire kept falling off my ear when I wore them cable-up until I got Phonak Audeo silicone guides. Now they're perfect cable-up.

EDIT: whoops, didn't realize they were only hooks and not cable guides. El oh el. no idea if they work or not, but hey, Turbines are heavy so maybe they help.

I did a quick google search and everyone seems to agree that though they weren't sure about them at first, they turned out to be legit. One guy claimed that after making a debit purchase through them he found a lot of money missing from his chequeing account. That was hopefully just a coincidence since I decided to just try them out now. Wish me luck

are you talking about the merchant or the product? I have dealt with meritline before(their $2 precision screwdriver set are the balls), but they have been known to sell knockoff products.

Are you talking about the meelec m6's?  Those are not fake for sure, if fact I'm quite certain that fakes don't exist at all.  It wouldn't be profitable to make fakes at all and they go for under $20 all of the time, it's not such a ridiculous deal.  Meritline is a reliable seller, I've ordered from them several times.  Some of the stuff they carry might be cheap/knock offs, but they're not going to just steal your credit card info or take your money and not ship you anything.

Not too into newegg. I'd rather buy from amazon for their superior customer service and no question asked return policy. Also, I had a negative review removed by newegg because in the review I said something negative about their services.

they're notorious for that, but I have to admit, it's annoying to read a product review on Amazon when it goes like this:

ONE STAR!!!

OMG Amazon took 3 weeks to ship this to me and the box was damaged.

I'm not saying you were wrong, but it's still not typical of everyone that uses those sites.  I've been using newegg for the last 7 or 8 years with no problem at all.
