These are refurb, so it's similar to the Monster Store refurb deal. I have no idea if Monster stopped that deal yet, but for $50 the Turbines are pretty good.

I bought a pair from their ebay store and received them not too long ago. It was an open-box unit, probably a return from some other store. They look and sound identical to the Turbines I bought from the Amazon gold box deal last year so im pretty sure they are legit.
