Amazingly, I am still very interested in this set despite everything that's come out since. Just looks the right amount of toyish and on top of that, all descriptions I read make it seem it should fit my taste well.


This thing looks like an absolute nightmare ergonomically. At least for my ears.

Smooth low end extension that makes subbass mysteriously absent, perfect midbass to low mid bloat that makes bass guitars sound like they're drowning (but only on one side), fantastic 4dB pinna from 1,3kHz to 1,8kHz to skillfully compensate for our hearing, tastefully done sibilance dip that murders all strings, and a slightly pronounced 17kHz peak that makes even the oldest among us 40 years younger.

I believe MMCX is the best from a technical point of view. Unfortunately it's harder to find replacement cables to your desire.. So that's pro and cons. But in the future ideally MMCX should take over 2 pin, I feel it's just a better design

Also very curious to see updates from Dusk, I think this IEM might be something amazing and redefine the price bracket (if priced correctly)
