With Simgot EM6L or Truthear Nova around, i think starsea have become somewhat last gen kinda thing.

Hell if you wanna have basslite detail monster, KZ AS24 is at $120.

If anything "basslite" - that would be Hexa with its anemic DD air guides.
AS24 is happily a bit "too bassy" for me at the extreme of bass switches turned on.

Great that ZAT is close to AS24 - that would be perfect.
From more engaging Krila and Pianist to even more fun ZS10 pro, to more refined/analytical ZAT - a great lineup to me.
Hopefully, I will get Pianist and ZAT in few days, while ZS10 pro X is on a 'slow boat" (I was amazed at only few and some totally incompetent reviews of ZS10.pro X, so I decided to get one).
ZS10 pro is a fun V-shaped icon - 500,000+ copies sold make it really an IEM that enabled a lot of people to enjoy music vs. boutique ones under 100 copies sold.and claimed to be such...

There is a thread about HeadFi "dying". I am not sure about "dying" but I can certainly perceive degradation in being more and more overrrun by "honest" reviewers of "free samples" and $1+ K cable rollers that kill any objectivity in this hobby by their "perpetrated/perpetuated beliefs" (IMO.and subjectively).

DONT BOTHER with Linsoul codes, way too much hassle to get them given that they only sell 100 $100 USD codes and many people will be attempting to buy them the second they go live.

Not to mention that you can't use them if you get products from certain brands, one of them being Moondrop.

Why bother with selling promo codes if you're going to put stupid restrictions on them?

cable recs? i feel like i hate every default one i own, tripowin zonie was good but wore down after awhile.

Currently using the Hart custom interconnect but its just... okay. Feels old school, a bit stiff. Curiosity has me looking what else is new i have missed that won't break the bank.

Like it very much. Comfortable, very solid build quality, and sounds really good. Not worth it at $300+ but a steal at $84.

Note how I have to use a slightly longer ear-tip, but it is truly special..........I think? A total steal at $84.00! Still the ISN SC4 additional cable add truly actualizes performance and ergonomics! Being it’s has a bass control and is thin to move around.
