It is with some concern I notice that the storage system illustrated for audiophiles, only contains space for twenty pairs of IEMs! Is this an effort to conceal the true scope of the problem from significant others?

Ah yes a very astute observation. This audiophile display case is a false flag operation to trick the other half, so that they think there are only 20 IEMs in circulation.

I have 4 - 5 drawers of the good stuff hidden away from prying eyes hahaha.

But for this to work, only silver/black IEMs with regular designs can be placed inside. Anything exotic in colour or shape will let the cat out of the bag. I hope this helps the others here on how to camouflage our gear haha.

i listen to all genres except classical

i like more of a W sound, which means vocals should not be recessed

cayin n7 is my source

i have and had quit alot of totl iems as seen in the bout me page on profile

but honestly i think those prices are not warranted at all, that is why every now and then I like to see where chifi stands in comparison

If at $200ish and below with the above criteria, check out the following (alphabetical order)
- DUNU Falcon Ultra
- Geek Wold GK100
- Hidizs MS3
- Kiwi Ears Quintet
- Simgot EA500
- Tanchjim Oxygen

Venture electronics SIE (~$120) and EPZ Q5 (~$60) are two lovely single DDs you could get for a combined sum below $200.

I wonder if EJ07M is on par with Monarch MK.II despite that its a cheaper one.
EJ07M its a scandal of iem. (feat OPUS MIA, FH9, VARIATIONS, NANNA OG)

It was one of my first tribird, and still being one of the funniest stage, composition of scene and enjoying bass.

If you find any unit around 400€.... Get it. (Warm-sound has to be your profile)

To save money, and for stock, I would recommend the HANA 2021 over the OXYGEN, wich its hard to find a v1 driver unit (the old ones)

I totally agree in the subjectivity of both the group and the individual. And in a way this shouldn’t be any kind of contest to find out which one (IEM) gets recommendations or not. Why, because some like redheads, some like blonds and some like brunets. All of them make music, except you start to focus in and identify with certain aspects of replay. But Head-Fi does exist to further the agenda to finding one (or a few) that many agree are good. Because there is truth in that.........a style of truth anyway. Ya, a month later to the day, and not much talk of the Quintet? But also look at the RAPTGO Bridge? That one has been out a while, and now more and more are talking about it, like a sleeper kind of?
Ya I think myself and a few others took advantage of the June AE sale and I took a chance on Bridge and paid like $106. Boy am I glad I did. I think they’re special. For me I think it’s the combination of bass qualities, separation and soundstage.

It's a pretty good indication to be completely honest.
Just had the huge hubbub here about "reviewers" being paid to shill certain products, not to mention another member being pushed out for sharing a product they're working on and not being happy that all their posts now need to be reviewed because money. That screams unbiased and impartial to you?

"Welcome to Head-Fi, please leave your critical thinking hats at the door."

My vote, a bit over $200 but at $279 the new ISN Neo 5. especailly if you want more of a musical style of sound vs anything analytical

I highly recommend adding the ISN S4 cable as a 2ndary cable option when ordering for $10 more. It is the cable the Neo5 should have come with imo.
Punchy bold smooth and extremely musical. Love the Neo 5 at the price it is sold at.

Both the ISN S8 and S4 are good cables, but you're right, NEO 5 should have come with the S4 instead of S8.

Good thing is, you can upgrade to S4 for just $10 when buying the NEO 5.

It's close to $300, not $200 though. At around $200, Kiwi Ears Quintet is king.

Quintet is a completely different animal though. Way more analytical. The Neo 5 is more analogue sounding.
