Thanks. I'm certainly not losing sleep over it. We all have to go some way. I don't worry about mortality. It's coming, so why get angsty? CARPE F*CKING DIEM.Thanks,
I will have a read later but at a glance there seemed to be a differentiation between tinnitus caused by hearing damage and that caused by other reasons.
It seems, at a glance, that tinnitus can be caused by the same things that cause dementia.
Tinnitus caused by physical hearing damage would seem to be a correlation not causation thing.
Sorry if I have missed something in my glance through that.
@pk4425 .... as a man over a certain age there is a bunch of other medical sh..t that is worth worrying about far more than dementia related to tinnitus, you will be golden mate![]()
Eager for your comparisons!Won't know if it knocks the AFUL Cantor or Letshuoer Cadenza 4 off their perch, for me, until they land either tomorrow or Saturday?
LOL. Leader in the clubhouse for Disco Thread metaphor of the month! Well played!is hotter than a naked supermodel at a all-boys boarding school.
Christ on a bike, another waifu. Who in the holy hell would put that in their ears? If I put those in my ears as a 59-year-old man, I wouldn't blame the world for seeing the faceplate and immediately thinking, "Pedophile." Not one bit.
Moondrop Psyche (?)
2DDs + 4BAs + 2 Planars.
Its not that long ago that moondrop release their big boy Meteor
They now going to release another big girl iem.
I miss my TRN ST7. Gave them to my father, and I bet he doesn't even use them! But I can't reverse-gift. Maybe I'll buy another pair during a sale. I dug the stage for such a cheap IEM, too.As for is the TRN ST7 still worth it? It would be WORTH. EVERY. PENNY at $50.00, but at half that, it's a steal. It's a skillfully tuned IEM with what? 6 BA's and dual DD? So 8 drivers, and a full on orbital stage from a tiny shell. How did they get that kind of stage from such a tiny shell?!?! NiceHCK should try and steal TRN's company secret for the NX7/8!!
I wish no thoughts of schadenfreude, but they will pay for this abuse in the future. And it won't be pleasant. On the topic of tinnitus and hearing loss and stuff, my family literally doesn’t care about their hearing whatsoever. I’m serious. They’ve never worn earplugs to concerts, my father used to listen with his Sony XM4s (in ears) so loud, I could hear it from across the sofa, and whenever I remind them about protecting their hearing they say “oh my gosh you’re so paranoid stop overreacting” or something like that.
I’m genuinely worried for them.
Lots of love,
Tinnitus non-sufferer (thank gosh)
Sometimes. Let me use a food analogy to explain. That’s the first time I’ve ever seen someone say “overly resolving”. Isn’t resolution a good thing?
A highly resolving IEM like the Cantor is like a seven-course meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Intense. Involving. Commands your attention at every course. But also rewarding if that's what you seek. But there are some nights you just want to curl up with chicken wings and a beer over a game on TV -- comfort food. That's where a warm IEM without ultra-resolution -- like the Explorer -- is the perfect meal.
OK, please school this more recent IEM aficionado: Is Feb. 25 Chinese New Year, with corresponding sales at Chi-fi outlets? Thanks.I would like to buy a Cantor, but will wait for February 25
