They are actually really easy to do. You can auto do them as well, but I wouldn't' recommend that. XDChapters are essential these days on YT.

With BCD. Don't forget BCD.
Nah. Mark's reviews usually clock in around 25 minutes. Plus, he's smart, knowledgeable and doesn't ramble too much. Has a consistent format and rating system. That's OK by me.
There's a guy who does mainly headphone gear reviews on YouTube named WaveTheory. Smart guy, knows his stuff. But he did a one-hour review on an Audio-Technica headphone and a 55-minute review on a DAC. Again, he's smart. But I can't. I just can't.
Z is the worst. Reviews ranging from 35 to 50 minutes during which he just rambles, rants, talks about waifu, implores you to "just f*ckin' buy it" about nine times. No effing way.
Well, there may be a YouTube reviewer who's tougher to stomach than WaveTheory or Z: Anyone who creates reviews of more than 30 minutes without chapters. Come on. Stop being so f*cking arrogant that you think everyone wants to bead-weld their eyes to their laptop or phone just to hear every nugget of wisdom you want to drop every single time. Chapters are essential these days on YT.
Chapters are absolutely necessary. I'm going to try and keep mine more concise and reduce audiophile terms.

This beauty is in the house! Accessories seem relatively modest for the price but certainly adequate. The cable is super thick and premium-feeling, although the ear hooks a rather stiff and it really makes noise when you move it (microphonics?) Shells are very shiny and just as beautiful as they look in pictures. The right shell has what seems to be a scratch in the middle by the nautilus logo. There’s no visible vents on the inner shell for the BC like the Fan 3 has.
I tried a few of the included tips but they didn’t work super great. Currently still tip rolling.
Sound impressions will be in a separate post!
Yessss, Nautilus in the house? Eager to hear your impressions!

Super stoked! I'm 8 IEMs lighter, but I sold both lots in less than 24 hrs, and now I have all the funds available to PTT on the ISN EBC80 whenever it's announced for sale? I got my full asking price, so now the money just goes into escrow, until we stop getting teased, and we start getting facts. I might still wait for some more reviews, but I'm fairly trusting of the ones initially released, and they both echo similar sentiment (an upgraded H60 with BCD juice), and if that's actually the case, then I'm down for that all day and all night, since as all of you know, the H60 is my torchbearer in my rota.
Ha. No offense. I'm just someone who watches waaaay too many YouTube videos!I'm sorry, I'm just not really a fan of him lol. Sorry if I offended you.
PRE-BURN-IN impressions.

So far, I'm using the wide bore tips that come with Kinera Celest IEMs. They're short and small, and the Nautilus is a bit weighty and I don't want a big tip adding any more pressure.
The stock cable was just too noisy for me... Traded it out for the silvery one that came with my Pula PA02. Trying a few other cables didn't make a huge difference so far.
OK... this isn't the type of sound the H60 has. It's not as dripping with special sauce, but sounds very, very correct while being bassy. I still need to compare it to the Fan 3, but this seems more along that line of CLEAN sound, but with more bass emphasis. The Nautilus can really dive deep! But nothing was leaving me awe-struck until "To Be Loved" by the "Tones and I" came on. My first thought was WOW... that piano sounds real! Then she started singing and I could hear the echoes from the stage/large room she was singing in. Her voice was immaculate and ridiculously crisp in a natural way. The more subtle bass line was not distant, like some less bassy IEMs portray, but was always there in a pleasing amount.
"Comet" by Sevdaliza... She has a very rich and intimate voice, but I've never heard it so 3D and crisp! I reckon that's the micro-planar working its crispy magic lol.
That Bubbles song everyone uses here... crazy stage and realistic sound from all directions. The bounce echoes sounded so lifelike.
Si Antes te Hubiera Conocido by Karol G [I don't even know Spanish haha... just love this song!] WOW... I'm not sure I've ever heard this so clean, punchy, but with intimate, realistic vocals.
Dream by Jain. This song isn't particularly audiophile-oriented, but trust me, it sounds AMAZING on the Nautilus. Bass is about the perfect amount for me. No bleeding or boominess. Vocals again are the star of the show, but again, better than I'm used to. Stage echoes are audible for sure.
Ces petits riens by Jane Birkin [No, I don't know French either haha] very clear, stagey orchestra. Again, they sound correct. Jane's voice is very intimate and "in your head" without being shouty.
Goodbye by Apparat feat. Soap&Skin: [the opening theme to the AMAZING show "Dark." The song is VERY lovely too.] The opening is a slowly-building, subtle bassline with airy, ethereal sound effects floating all around you. The Nautilus pulled this off BEAUTIFULLY.
I'm gonna give my ears a rest and let these burn in more. So far, the more I listen, the more I like them. I'm trying to be objective and ignore the price I paid haha. The H60's magic-sauce mids is truly mind-blowing especially for the price, but often I just want a more traditional, correct and clear and DETAILED sound that's not sibilant, shouty, or full of recessed mids/bass bleed. The Fan 3 was ALMOST that, but not quite bassy enough for me. I like bass to feel effortlessly deep, not like I have to strain to hear the low notes.
My lot hasn't sold yet... I probably had it priced too high. Maybe even 275 is too much... However, I decided to modify the listing to donate 50% to Doctors Without Borders because... well, it feels wrong to be able to buy such luxuries then sell them for a fraction of the cost [simply because we aren't content lol] while so many people are suffering and lacking daily needs. If it sells for that, I won't get my $200 minimum goal for offsetting the cost of the Nautilus but I'll feel better about it overall.Super stoked! I'm a weak, weak man. Dunu's 10% storewide discount + free shipping brought the Braindance down into cash-on-hand territory. So not such a wash of an 11.11 afterall!

The only reason I'm not the biggest fan of him is because he reviews stuff based on his own personal preference. The closer it is to his preference, the more stars he gives it. I hate when any reviewer does that, and Mark's no exception.Ha. No offense. I'm just someone who watches waaaay too many YouTube videos!
Yes, I know you didn't ask.

Have not noticed any new great planar models after S15. Have you?

Still telling myself I don’t want this one… living vicariously through your purchase here.I'm a weak, weak man. Dunu's 10% storewide discount + free shipping brought the Braindance down into cash-on-hand territory. So not such a wash of an 11.11 afterall!

One last pic of these beauties… the mother-of-pearl is very colorful and mesmerizing.

See the scratch between the segments of the Nautilus logo? The other side doesn’t have that. I probably could ask for some money back for that. However, it reminds me this is handmade and not churches out in some factory somewhere. (Am I being too romantic? I could get some money back lol) what do you all think about this?

Worth mentioning to the store you bought it from if it was new. If it was listed as “like new” or less I wouldn’t bother.

Not sure what the alternative is. Whose preferences should a reviewer base their evaluation on if not their own?The only reason I'm not the biggest fan of him is because he reviews stuff based on his own personal preference.

For that price I expect perfection. I'd get a close up pic and send to vendor if bought as new.

Eek. At that price and with such shiny, intricate, delicate metalwork, I'd want them in multiple layers of bubble wrap before I ever put my clumsy hands on them!
