Has anyone here heard both MP145 and Fudu? The graphs are very close. 1 kHz and below are identical. 1,5k and 4k looks a bit spicier on Fudu.
If yes, which one did you prefer? I know it's subjective, but still interesting. Thanks.
I have the Fudu and i recently heard the MP145 very briefly. I the biggest diffeence for me was that the Fudu has a warmish timbre where as MP145 has a less warm tone in comparison. This makes the MP145 sound airer. The Fudu definitely needs an aftermarket cable where as the cable on the Mp145 is decent. The screen below the nozzle dampens the highs on the Fudu where as this is not the case with the MP145.
Having said that i really enjoy Fudu's musical presentation.

You are welcome, also the difference in sound presentation of the different drivers in both sets speak for themselves.

I have it on my cart and thinking about pulling the trigger... how would you compare to other IEMs like Aful P8... Penon 10th or SR7? Worth the money?
Thanks!
Hi carlos.

I dont try any of the contenders you said... but from my experience, and some comparisons with other iems on my collection, I could recommend them.

After some burning, bass get a little more intense, so I started to listen them without eq. The are neutralish-with a little bit of power between 8k and 10k.

A 2DD + 6BA with this quality, fit and sound, its a bargain. Texture of the bass is sublime, a lot of info on low frequencies, wich has more rumble that punch. Scene got body, and voices dont sound "thin" anymore.
Intense and detailed, I think its a really good pick for that people looking for details, without losing bass quantity.

Also, gotta say, testing them versus SR8, cant justify the price of the second one. Maybe the SoundRhyme got more punch on the bass. Thr SR8 is a hard pick for source, you need a really good amp with zero-floor and outut impendace, really sensible!

EDIT. More soun analysis.

Hello Friends, I got a unit of M15S via a friend, tried it, made an unboxing video as well, and I absolutely love it. It has the kind of signature that I am looking to complement the signature of my modded Wm1A mk1.

I hope you guys enjoy the unboxing and my initial impressions here:-

How does it sound in general? I may grab one tomorrow.

M15S is a fantastic device. It is not an overly neutral FiiO sound like prior FiiO DAP M15 or their lesser DAPs. It has a rich tonal quality, highly dynamic spacious sounding as it reigns in a touch of the treble extenion of the former dap but sounds more real, to my ears sounds more high end in a good way vs the older FiiO sonic charcters. I did a full review for it and you can read more about it here. https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/fiio-m15s.26483/review/31063/ 5 gain stages means it will able to drive anything you have.

So, 1) you haven’t heard it yet and 2) you’re not naming specific sources.

Fail.
It was a few pages back. Terrible first impressions from a YouTuber who is getting a new one sent to them as 7Hertz thinks it must have been faulty
