db/1v is wrong, you need to set it to db/mw. That is the standard and since Final Audio doesnt actually specify that, it is what you should be asssuming.

I purchazed from global01 shop, it’s stetchy but they do their job. They are the agent for Lafitear, besides regular retailing business. Not sure about that shop though.

Just when I thought was done buying iems this month with the TRI Starsea ($119 CAD with store discount and AE coupon), I decided to jump on this one It’s close to a $100 CAD difference for me between this and the AFUL P5.

I see you're from Germany. Are you sure you're not blacklisted? That's strange that they don't ship it to you. I'm in eu and I can order. Maybe talk to the seller to check.

To clearly state, the sellers on AE have list to themselves to blacklist some buyers. Especially they do this when you win a dispute. Of there are scammer buyers so that's sth good for sellers but I see they do it for honest people as well. There were reddit posts in the past talking about this blacklist.

So I got some money from my father that my mom wanted me to have, so I ended up getting the Sennheiser IE600 open box from WWA. It was at a substantial discount (though not as substantial as some of the headfi classifieds sellers, but all of them had sold out, so that was a no-go). So I asked my wife if I could use some of that money to purchase these, but I had to promise that I would not buy anymore headphones/IEMs/DAPS until Christmas at the earliest, since she was going to get these for me as a Christmas present). So once these hit my porch next week, I will be out of the game for awhile, as I plan to keep my promise to my spouse. I've been incessantly talking about getting these since they came out, so finally I have the money and the guts to pull the trigger. I look forward to getting them, and pitting them against what I already have and what I have incoming?

The articles do not show up when I browse AliExpress in incognito mode even when setting the page to another language. Accessing ru.aliexpress lets me look at the article page. Basically the article is not listed in the search results. When viewing the article page in incognito mode it says they do not ship to my country. Setting the country in Aliexpress settings to UK lets me ship it to this country. So this article is banned from shipping to germany? Does not matter, I already ordered something else.

It has nothing to do with blacklisting. German customs have become very strict about shipments from China/AliExpress. They require the companies to list the products with import tax + any applicable VAT added. Many companies ignore that so the listings are just not shown if you set shipping address to Germany.

Germany has introduced EPR compliance requirements. Any package needs to pay extra taxes and cannot be paid by aliexpress. The basic opening fee needs several hundred dollars per store per year, so many small sellers cannot sell to germany.

I've never understood why the US has such a large custom fee threshold ($1,600 by the looks of if) but most other countries have nada, like laughable declaration limits before VAT applies.

I know Europe had a laughable custom fees threshold (Like 30 Euros or something.) before they started charging VAT on everything because people often gamed the system by declaring expensive packages as gifts.

Happy weekends from the land Down Under. Glad that you enjoy the JD7. These IEMs made many “budget kings” irrelevant to me. I mean, why chase something else when you can have a product with full metal build, open back design, well tuned and vibrant tonality, detailed midrange, from an established manufacturer?
