I honestly don't know what to expect with the Denons. I've just had a hankerin for more bass (that don't bleed into the mids) that my 600's lack. I have finally surrendered my mantra that I must have neutral(ish) headphones.

Hopefully u will enjoy them and it will stop you from buying different headphones for a while. Could you please let us know how they compare to HE-400 especially bass bleeding into mids issue?

Used on Agon, although from a glance doesn't seem they have any at the moment.  Dealers rarely give any discounts at all on new ones, let alone "killer" deals.  They'll come up here in FS ads every once in a while as well.
