Thanks for your answer. Your impressions are pretty much different from the ones in the post I was replying to. You say that the Monarch MK2 is a great specialist for you.
Actually, they are a wonderful all-rounder for me. It's just that the discomfort is real enough for me that I only reach for them for certain kinds of music. That may seem like splitting hairs, but I'd listen to them all the time over all else if they didn't bug me after a while. As it is, I reach for them all the time (meaning very frequently, not constantly) anyways. I should add that they don't bug me at all when I put them in - just after >1 hour. Others they bug right away, others never. The fact that I reach for them so often given that they do bug me after a while is a testament to how good they are. But I've never heard U12t nor ODIN nor the big expensive Sony's. We all have complex different preferences.
I received the CHIKYU-SEKAI 5/COSMOS e-earphone Edition today and I'd put it above the FA9, it's way more harmonic and authentic, something that I thought is not possible with an all BA in that price range.
For the same MSRP than the FA9, it is for sure the better In-Ear
But as the FA9 dropped in price and due to its limited nature, it's in unfair comparison.
But if you're looking for something in the 500 range, I'd say, give it a shot

Nostalgia audio is a Hong Kong brand and knows nothing about their other iem (as far as I know, they are famous for cable). However, they have completely fascinated Korean consumers with Camelot alone, and are generally compared to Odin. I heard that Odin was better than Camelot for separation and resolution, but Camelot was better in terms of texture and harmonious tuning. I ranked Camelot on Odin because the performance difference between iEMs at this price range is very small. Camelot is generally recommended by the Korean acoustic community because it is a very referenced tuning.
I would love to try it. Let's see if it is true that they decide to get an intermediate between the Master Mini and the Master SE at a more affordable price.
