Midfi can you please give a quick review between the campfire vega and noble encore?

I had a chance to demo the andromeda and was blown away, but would ultimately love to find an IEM with the same level of soundstage and imaging with a tad more bass.

Please!!

AAW W500 Ahmorph. Not same but blew

Wow MkII in 2nd? How so? I've had these on my list of IEMs to buy, along with Angie II and Oriolus v2. I'm really tempted to buy them.

I suppose it's more of a preference thing. I prefer dynamic drivers over balanced armatures. To my ears, the sound is very similar to the Katana with a few exceptions. The sound is overall more lively on the T8iE. The treble has a little more sparkle but still very well controlled. The bass is more prominent and impactful. Imaging is close but I'd give a slight edge to the T8iE. The mids are noticeably more forward on the Katana but they don't sound recessed on the T8iE. I'd also give the T8iE the nod in resolution, being slightly more revealing to ears. In my opinion, the T8iE is a highly "slept on" TOTL. It works well with just about any genre of music. If you like a musical IEMs, it should be on your list of things to hear.

Thank you! Will keep them in mind then

Wow, I've had great memories of SM64. The 5k dip isn't for everyone but it's very easy listening, not to mention the awesome fit.

1. AAW W900
Easily the best positioning and soundstage I've heard in an IEM. Stellar bass response that, while doesn't touch the heights of the W500, is still pretty solid and beats out any BA woofer. Extremely well-controlled, flat treble that makes others sound peaky in comparison. Personal benchmark for bass, treble and soundstage.

2. Jomo Flamenco (new!)
Slight V-shaped tonality, amazing treble extension with a tonality leaning towards reference but still maintaining a bit of musicality. Quite easily one of, if not the most detailed IEM I've ever heard with all the switches up. Would be joint #1 with the W900 but I have a preference for the latter's signature.

3. InEar ProPhile-8 (new!)
My sought-after reference. Amazingly clean and technical yet straying away from the sterility found in Etymotic flagships. Very tasteful and controlled bass boost function that allows this reference to let loose and have fun at the same time.

4. Ultimate Ears UE18+ Pro
The first thing that pops to your mind when you hear the new UE18 is coherency. Balanced sound with a refinement and tonality that is completely unlike the typical TOTL. Sounds like what the UERR strives to be but couldn't. My personal benchmark for what constitutes as "natural".

5. 64 Audio A12
Staging. Imaging. The best BA bass I've heard. Very "live" sound that carries energy and low-end power well.

6. Unique Melody Legacy
Apparently a Singaporean exclusive model, the Legacy is custom-tuned to be more friendly. The end result is an amazingly smooth and well extended IEM with decent rumble down in the low end.

7. Custom Art Harmony 8.2
Relaxed, smooth signature that introduces emotion and warmth into every song. The perfect lounging IEM.

8. Campfire Andromeda
It's hard to describe what the Andromeda does well. Friendly tuning, amazing coherency and spot-on timbre coupled with deep soundstaging only scrapes the surface on what it's truly capable of.

9. Empire Ears Zeus-XIV
It's only so low on my list purely for preference reasons. It has some of the best technicalities in the TOTL realm, sounding dynamic and energetic, though relatively sub-par bass performance does dock it a lot of points in my own opinion.

10. Rhines Stage 7
Sweet and melodic mids that outshine anything in the competition. Just... stunning mids. So good.

A reshuffle in my IEM rankings. Decided to go with one model per brand 'cause the top four spots were being taken up my AAW and Jomo.
