Can only afford one iem at a time and Went from thieaudio L4, to the clairvoyance to a used MEST OG for $650 and i am done with the chasing !

Audiophilia is a lot like chasing the dream! Once you spend a decent amount, ie, 1k and over, the inhibition to spend more loosens and you start wondering “what’s the best sound money can buy?”

The OI of the Cowon Plenue is about 2.6 ohms which pretty much to me would be the sweet spot for 2020 whereas the OG Andromeda tuning would be around 2 ohms. With the right DAP, Andromeda can possibly have as much musical enjoyment as the current summit-fi of today.

Yup plus the Cowon has possibly the blackest background of any player I've ever heard...which Andromeda likes very much. I was actually spellbound by how good this combo is.

How much better is mest vs Clair

It is the Mest OG I had but Bought the clairs for $610 bought the mest for $ 650 , I felt and heard the difference the mest are a tier up, dont get me wrong clairs are VERY good but the mest
OG is alot better IMO.
