The T70 is pretty underrated, I've had them since release and they're great with acoustic/orchestral music.

Yeah I agree. Also I think the T70 is in the same league as the T1 and T5P. The T70 has the same level of detail and is just as accurate, except it has a slightly smaller soundstage than the other 2.

This is in enjoyment factor for me personally. The TH 900 and LCD are really, really close, and the same goes for 4,5 and 6.. They do different stuff well. Generally speaking the Stax does everything the others do just better, except bass - and I prefer vocals on the LCD 2.

MDR-V6: get some Shure velour pads since they are much more comfortable and will last much longer.

I have not heard the Sony 900st's but I understand they have somewhat of a cult following in Japan. I don't have a problem with the X's weight. I have had LCD 2F's for awhile so I guess I got used to Audeze's weight. I am going to get a set of Mrspeakers Aeon closed in the near future.
