Is there a nice, thick/cheap cable I could use to recable? (Somebody cut mine)I was thinking on a he_400 stock cable. What do you guys think?

 
The stock cable is by Canare. It should do very well as a replacement cable.  However, you can find other cables on eBay built for the purpose of replacing a cable with an issue.  It'd be a shame to waste a cable from the HE-400 or buy an HE-400 cable just to cut it up to fix your Grado cable issue.

I ordered a recable kit from ebay but I can't remember what the cable is. I haven't gotten around to recabling yet either. I've had the kit for quite some time. My cable is ok, as ok as the stock cable can be. I just wanted to try a recable to see how it would do with the Grados. My 325's are so modded at this point, figured new cables can't hurt.

  Put the Padauk MS1s on the Auvio headband from RS that wje posted earlier. They are SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE. And they look better!
