FooTemps, I guess you never got the SFI transplant to work out in your QP55x?

And still sounds good with lower volume. |

Originally Posted by mypasswordis /img/forum/go_quote.gif Want to let me know when the next T50 clone or ID2 shows up? ![]() I usually like being able to hear up to 20 or so kHz, but it definitely does make choosing headphones a problem, since most just can't seem to handle going there without rolling off and/or having uneven frequency response somewhere along the line. I guess this is where electrostatics come in. |

Originally Posted by mypasswordis /img/forum/go_quote.gif Oh, my bad. Faulty memory... Do you think an SFI has enough balls or does the QP55x need something big like a YH-100 driver to sound good? And good luck on the wooden housing. I technically have the means but neither the time nor patience to construct something halfway decent with wood. Otherwise I'd be on my 4070-esque Lambda already. |

I doubt there is too much bass on either my T20v2 or T40 although both are currently slightly woolly/underdamped. Both roll off slightly in the top end, as well (16kHz+). |
