I'm looking around this thread and I just want to experiment with all different kinds of pads. 

Unfortunately, foam seems to be fairly expensive.

I like bowls only at the moment. I tried PX100 pads under bowls and it was too bloated in the bottom for me.

The G-Cush pads sounds pretty interesting with the  V6+C6 build. Worth giving a try if you've got them.

Foxnovo pads (Looks similar to the quarter mod but I didn't like them)
Pleather pads (That I can assure you are quite terrible)
L-Cush replicas (That also sounded iffy)
Original L Cush pads (Sounds the best with the "scotch tape mod", but I dislike the noise the tape makes, the looks of it and they come off easily while peeling some of the foam off)

Where did you find the V6 for 90$? I see they are 120$ shipped in their site.

if i was going to improve on something, it might be in mounting the drivers, i just have them pressed in using the tape, i might like something a little more secure
would i need different cups, cut to size, or would sleeves do , if i could find some ?
