I'm looking around this thread and I just want to experiment with all different kinds of pads.

Unfortunately, foam seems to be fairly expensive.

What do you have so far?

Foxnovo pads (Looks similar to the quarter mod but I didn't like them)
Pleather pads (That I can assure you are quite terrible)
L-Cush replicas (That also sounded iffy)
Original L Cush pads (Sounds the best with the "scotch tape mod", but I dislike the noise the tape makes, the looks of it and they come off easily while peeling some of the foam off)

G-Cush replicas (That also sounded iffy)
Original G Cush pads (Sounds the best with the "scotch tape mod", but I dislike the noise the tape makes, the looks of it and they come off easily while peeling some of the foam off)

No L-Cush?

Beautiful! Hope they are bringing you great joy :)

listening to them right now, and loving every note , thanks !

if i was going to improve on something, it might be in mounting the drivers, i just have them pressed in using the tape, i might like something a little more secure
would i need different cups, cut to size, or would sleeves do , if i could find some ?

Interested in your take on the difference musically between this cable and the one you replaced.
