Yeah, I don't think any Grado rocks as hard as the SR325x... Stones, AC/DC, Who, Black Sabbath
I agree. It's awesome with these bands indeed.

Man... I started out tonight "testing" the RS2x and GS1000 so I could comment earlier... than put on the SR325x with Exile on Main Street... could. not. stop. listening.I agree. It's awesome with these bands indeed.

Strangely, I'm enjoying classical stuff (what little that I have) with the Sr80x. Piano notes seem to have a little extra oomph, and the space they provide d music is great.
Not an avid listener of the genre, but an unintended benefit.

I'm enjoying some Ramin Djawadi n Basil Poledouris right now. Great bombastic stuff...Just put here John Adams "Shaker Loops - The Wound-Dresser" with the 325x and also amazing. So much presence and weight. Those big drums goes deep and big.
Yup... now Amazon Music HD has decided to keep playing great tunes...damn it can't stop, won't stop... Wish me luckJust did the same. Jesus Christ. This is not a joke.
Really amazing the difference. The 325x hit hard. With this album is really magic.
I was thinking about getting the 325X but read where they were bright so I went with the 225X. I don't know if I'm a bit uncomfortable with having a Hemp headphone. The novelty of that might get a bit old. If I were to buy today, I think it would be the RS2X. That's within my budget.I went with the RS2x, because by many reports the Hemp is similar to the SR325x, so for me the RS2x slots in well with my GS1000, SR325x, and SR60e.
I find that the RS2x is so easy to put on and play... it plays well with both of my solid state amps and really great with jazz, blues, ...and rock... until I plug in the SR325x.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need to get ZMF or another aftermarket leather pad for my new 325x, turning them into either an over-ear (ZMF) or plush on-ear (other brand). I can only take about 60-75 minutes with either the Geekria G bowl or F stock pads before it feels like a blowtorch is nailing the cartilage in my right ear, even after gently stretching the headband.I also find the RS2x to be comfortable... It is just barely an over ear for me and my rugby ears
You will get used to the F pads. After some time they don’t bother anymore.Yeah, I'm definitely going to need to get ZMF or another aftermarket leather pad for my new 325x, turning them into either an over-ear (ZMF) or plush on-ear (other brand). No worries, though. Love the sound of the 325x!
