I believe they can connect to any device that has bluetooth. I connected mine to test for that reason to my Samsung 8XXXX.

Agreed, and my thoughts also. I can't even open and close my mouth without headphones on without hearing noises and creaks.

Remember, you have the option on these phones to turn NC off. You'll only get passive noise isolation ( which is very good on these) but should eliminate the wind through the mic effect when the wind is too strong.

Are you saying how could it be, or how could it not be by design?   I think the back of mine the foam is cut a slight bit straighter from top to bottom compared to the front. It is very uniform from left to right just more straight than the front. Have had them for three weeks now but never...

Head Band Padding?   I noticed the padding at the headband Is a different shape from front to back of the headphone to the other. The front is a smooth curve from bottom of padding to top of metal band while the back has a little bit of a straight piece going down about 1/4" from the top...

Interesting Fact!  Showing my son my original Sony Walkman cassette player from 1979, and I see and remember it has the following feature: An orange "hotline" button that when pressed lets the sound of the outside world into your headphones via the built-in mic on the player. They had a...

1000X Sound quality   Have been listening for about 2 weeks now and like many others feel the sound quality is excellent even compared to non-noise cancelling and is a premiere bluetooth headphone.    Does anyone else find these to be very "revealing" headphones for Bluetooth and NC. I am...

    Sony MDR-1000X

Thanks. I run about 50-55% volume except for some old stuff from the 70's need to push it up to 75-80% on iPhone 6. Wanted to make sure I was in normal operating range.   At what point do you recharge?

Battery Life ?   How long do you get, or should expect to get, using these around the house for an hour or two a day, having to turn them on and off a few times and not running continuously like you would on a long travel trip.   Was very hard to actually measure the time but my experience...

    Sony MDR-1000X

I went back to the store with my receipt showing that I purchased the headphones a few days ago, and they credited me the difference in the sale price. The other option would be to actually return the headphones and walk down the isle and repurchase them for the sale price.

    Sony MDR-1000X

MDR1000x volume I see a lot of people complain that the MDR100x are too low. I find that they are extremely efficient and loud. I use them on an iPhone 6 and am always around 50-55% volume. On Bose I have to turn volume up between 80-90%.

OK thanks. That's right in line with what I experienced. Too bad it isn't more accurate. I am not familiar with the Beats headphones.

Sony MDR 1000X Battery Widget   For those using an iPhone how do you find the accuracy of the battery widget on the iPhone. I am not talking about the small battery indicator at the top of the home page next to the bluetooth symbol but the widget that shows the percentage if you swipe the...

    Sony MDR-1000X

Just got my MDR 100X three days ago. I went back and forth between Bose QC35 and the Sony's. Decided on the Sony's and glad I did. Bose had a different sound. I could here no mids and highs were very bright and fatiguing. Overall better balanced sound from Sony. No signs of squeaking or...

    Best Ear Buds = ?

I think the new Bose IE's might be your answer
  20. mchurgin

Got the Bose IEMs from BestBuy. Review shortly, but question first.

They are not IEM's but IE's (in Ear) They are earbuds that do not isolate at all. No Isolation. So if thats what you are looking for dont open them. If however you want very comfortable and possibly "best sounding ear bud" to date them give them a try. Check the other thread for some other...

Bose Triport IE's - impressions from users

After reading these reviews I decided to give them a try. As you can see from my sig I also like earbuds that dont seal. Although I use my superfi 5 pro when I need isolation, most of the time I actually need to hear whats going on in the background. I recently joined the Sony Ex-90 band...

    Sony Ex90

I have not posted here in quite some time. Over a year since a got UE superfi pro's. I just picked up Sony ex90 and wanted to post my opinion. These are the best sounding Quasi earbuds I have listened to. The sound signature is very similar to the Super fi pros. Except there is no where near...

    Nano Earbuds?

Last night I tried my wifes Nano's earbuds. These are not the same buds that came with my Ipod. Does anyone know if Apple has changed anything about them, because they actually sound decent. I say as good or even a tad cleaner than MX500 (old ones). Has anyone tried these?

Pics of UE Super.Fi Pro/Shure E4c in action?

In refernece to the pictures of the user wearing the Superfi's in the down position. You must try them in opposite ears and see what a great angle they form with your ear canal. This is the only way I wear mine, and I removed the memory wire also.

    Sony EX(xx) and panasonic MD33

Having had both phones in your question and most other IEM's, I would say they are more IEM than earbud. They seal at the very outer edge of the ear much like the UE Superfi series. They dont offer quite the amount of isolation as say they etymotic, or the Shure series. (Which offer less than...
