Last night I tried my wifes Nano's earbuds. These are not the same buds that came with my Ipod. Does anyone know if Apple has changed anything about them, because they actually sound decent. I say as good or even a tad cleaner than MX500 (old ones). Has anyone tried these?

I prefer the nano ear buds over any other ear bud I have heard, including Senns, but I felt the same about my old iPod earbuds.

I prefer the 3g buds to the Nano buds. They're still pretty horrid sounding though.

Let me repeat myself:

I love the buds that came with my Nano. They sound great.

...and I am a UE-10 Pro user.

The iBuds that came with my 5G are definitely better sounding than the ones that came with my 4G. Visually the driver casing looks the same but the plug is of a different design and it comes with some cord straightening thing.

They also seem the tinyest bit easier to drive than the 4G ones, lower impedance/more efficient(i.e. different) driver?

Decent pack-ins!? Is it possible?

Well, it's certainly about time! Ipod's earbuds have been the (easily recognizeable) weak link in the concept since day 1.
