FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
I am not really good at describing the specifics of the treble but if you listen to it with all other factors (Bass and Mids), the treble is fine. I don't find it too "sparkly".- Smurfs2010

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
I had the DM6 and found the treble to be hot and the mids recessed. I have since purchased the Rui and can safely say that they are way better in all aspects. The treble is not hot and the mids are perfect for me (might be forward for some). You won't regret buying the Rui, it's a great IEM...- Smurfs2010

Astell & Kern AK70 MKII with dual DAC
I am curious as to why you chose the SE425? I had them when I didn't have this player and found them to be very light on low end. Mids are great and the mids on this players are prominent as well so I am not shure how the combo will sound. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the SE425s but they...- Smurfs2010

Shure SE425 in 2019...
Ha ha, no love for the SE425. I would agree with you but there are some things lacking on the 425 (ie. bass). The mids / vocals are absolutely top notch but other than that, no bueno. Also, there are so many chi-fi IEMs out that these are not going to get any love.- Smurfs2010

Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread
If anyone cares, I agree 100%. I had the DM6 and have the tsmr-3 now and while I liked the DM6, they were V shaped. I also prefer vocals and found the DM6 vocals to be recessed. The only complaint I have about the tsmr-3 is that the nozzle is rather large and the unit itself is slightly...- Smurfs2010

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
Thank you! I'll watch your review and see if the S6Pro fit the bill. Thanks. I am mostly a Westone listener (UMPro30 & W60) but due to HB, I have dipped my toes into the ChiFi world and I like it. And I agree, Shure are mid-centric but those mids are truly lush and lovely (what I remember...- Smurfs2010

Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread
Thank you for the review, it's great. I have had the none Pro version for 3 weeks or so and have thoroughly enjoyed the sound. These are better than the DM6 (in my opinion). The sound is fuller and so are the mids. I am not so sure about the 3 little switches.... maybe my ears are old and...- Smurfs2010

FEARLESS Audio IEM's Discussion/Impressions
I have a question and not sure if it has been addressed before but if it has, please forgive me. I had the DM6 for a month or so before I sold them and acquired Tansio Mirai TSMR-3. My issue with the DM6 wasn't the treble, it was the mids. I just found the vocals to be way too recessed. I...- Smurfs2010

Tansio Mirai Impressions Thread
I wish my payroll checks would roll in as fast as new IEMs from China. I recently acquired the TSMR-3 (already discontinued) and I like the fuller sound it has, still need to do some more listening with different DAPs but so far they are pretty good. I wish they had the DM6 sound stage and...- Smurfs2010

Yes, pfe232 are best when amped. I used to have them and the only reason I sold them is because it needed an amp to really shine. I used them at my home desk with a Sony Pha2 amp.- Smurfs2010

BGVP discussion thread DM7/ DM6/DMG and NEW BA series
Westone UMPro50 and this (DM6) are 2 very different IEMs. What kind of music do you listen to and what kind of sound signature do you prefer. UMPro is a bit thick in sound and doesn't have the treble sparkle. If I had to choose between the 2 (I have/had both), i would go with the DM6. I also...- Smurfs2010
