Hey Tyll! Just wanted to pop by and thank you for all your work (and the cool pics) and wish you happy travels. That retirement video of yours was the first time the idea of retirement sounded fun to my ears. Sorta made me think about stuff.

Looking forward to mine after, like, thirty more years of slavin away I guess.

Also I find it funny that you "only" took ether flows, an ak240 and a hifimate with you for analytical listening.

Being stuck on the endlessly revolving merry go round of "normal" life, jumping off and experiencing a simpler paired back existence meeting like minded people is very attractive even if its only temporary.

Dangerous stuff day dreaming, time to get my nose back to the grindstone.

This is great. I'm in complete envy (not planned, I swear) of the freedom you have. Parts of me longs for a life like this, another part is such a damn introverted homebody that can't be untethered, though I don't really have an anchor.

You should look into a mobile sauna to go with your van as your next project.

This whole thread made me remember one of my favorite movies in the last years.
CHEF by Jon Favreau

I love the story and watching someone live their dreams makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

Congrats on living it real.
Thanks for all the great reviews, knowledge and pleasure you brought us over the years.
For my guilty pleasure, I hope you come back to it, but I also wish you don't!

If you pass by Montreal Canada, I'll be more than happy to greet you

Great to hear from you. I was thinking just the other day, I wonder what that dude is up to. Following your adventures, in this thread and in your eventual YouTube vlog really means a lot. The best headphone reviewer in my opinion. It was interesting to see your gradual transition, from David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) to Santa Clause. Keep us posted.

I love road trips and am really enjoying this thread... nice to see someone enjoying the outdoors. Sorry to hear about your engine issues (on pg. 2). I work for Navistar and want to apologize.
