Shure SE535 - tip discussion
I use the black foamies that came with my er4p's. They fit perfect, and dont look dirty so fast. I have tried every tip you can put on the shures, and I came to the conclusion that these are my best bet. They have a perfect seal. And they are comfortable. To me at least.- waltermeyer

For those of you with custom earmolds...
I have snagged my UE's a couple times but the way the cord wraps over your ears I guess saved me because it was no big deal. It almost felt like the outside of my ear (the upper part) took most of the force. It didnt hurt at all.- waltermeyer

Advice Needed: UE-5s in place of Sen 600's
I use an SR-71 to push my UE-10's and they are right there with my HD-650>Zu Mobius combo. I havent heard the UE-5's but Im sure they are fabulous. I would highly recomend the Ultimate Ears line, wheather you get the 5's or 10's. You wont be sorry. And the customer service over at UE is second...- waltermeyer

cd storage- I could just about cry..
I keep all of my cd's in those book type cases, and the only one I have had any luck with not scratching my cds was "case logic". I have had my cds in those cases for about 6 yrs and they are all fine. But I have encountered cheap "cd projects" and others like them, scratch my cds. -
what's the most versatile suit for someone young
My opinion would be a black suit, and you can buy several different shirt and tie combinations to make the suit very versitile. If you show up to the same place twice with a blue suit, different tie or not, they know its the same blue suit pretty much. It just seems like a nice black suit with a...- waltermeyer

UE-10 Pro First Impressions
Hopefully your UE's are having the same problem mine were when I first got mine. I got my UE-10's and was having the same sort of reaction. Mine were mainly very recessed highs and having to turn the volume up too high to get a descent sound. Luckily for me though I live in Las Vegas, so I didnt...- waltermeyer

Linn cd players
Has anyone seen or heard a Linn Sondek cd player? I have a guy in town that has one for sale and wants me to come and listen or even take it home for a week or so to test drive it. Are they worth the $$ or should I just buy a Merridian if I am putting up a couple k for the Linn? Anyone have any...- waltermeyer

Best headphone extension cable
He is right. You can spend up to $200 on a 10-15ft. extention, or you can make one just as nice with $5 worth of starquad, and about $15 worth of connectors. Assuming that you have the ability and tools to make 6 solder joints. It would be very worth your while to give it a shot. -
Portable amp for a new audio junkie?
I dont mean to add another to the mix, I know your having a hard enough time deciding, but I wouldnt forget about the new Larocco Pocket Reference. I have heard very good things about the older one, and the new one is supposed to be improved. Here is a link...- waltermeyer

Help me decide? ER-4p but 10 yr old Technology
Yea, Im almost positive it was in that 2005 ipod buyers guide. But I cant seem to get the link to open it. It keeps coming up an error. If anyone can get it to work, scroll to the area that has the headphones and read the part by the pics of the er6i's and UE's etc.- waltermeyer

Help me decide? ER-4p but 10 yr old Technology
And the ety's didnt just drop in price. I bought mine over two yrs. ago for $220 shipped overnight. So they have been reduced for a while. I did hear ety is looking into putting out a new model. I think I read it in the new iPod buyers guide that was floating around here and at ipodlounge.com...- waltermeyer
