There's no telling how long a KPH30i headband can last. Mine lasted 2 years of light use and developed a crack on one side of the headband. I think the plastic is either too thin or just gets brittle over time.

Congrats, is it your first ZMF? I think its one of Zach's best creations, and a great first-dip into the zmf lineup. Everytime I go from VO, Eikon or Aeolus to Atticus, I'm reminded why its a keeper. Suede Ori pads are perfect for it if you wanna make it a bit more neutral/comfortable.

Incase anyone hasn't heard, Eikon is being discontinued. I kind of suspect that the new bio-cel driver could be used for a new closed-back (Eikon classic?). I'm kind of hyped for something like that.

Another overlooked aspect of pads is temperature. After 20-30 minutes of wearing a headphone, the foam inside the pads will heat up a bit and that can also help fit and seal.
