I also love my VO and VC and I’ve heard the rest and out of them all, the Auteur is gonna be my last to purchase b/c I want all dynamic ZMFs at some point but it was my least fav.

Finally, my b-stock VO Ironwood has arrived. These sound very impressive even right out of my phone; VO is a wild ride! I heard it was renowned for being detailed, but I have never heard a headphone do things so effortlessly, maybe except the LCD-X.

With Aeolus, there was an adjustment period, but these are instant love. I wanna thank everyone for the useful info in this thread in regards to pad selection, this was an epic purchase!

One of my headphones came it looks like marble in hand but it’s kinda Zebra. Now VC not shipped yet is same color.

Which is your favorite?

The VO is my absolute favorite. I can appreciate what all other ZMFs have to offer, but if I had to pick only one headphone to have , it would be the VO. The bass rumble, the holographic stage, the detail, and the natural timbre are just too good. And I love the grill.

These sound really fantastic. Bass hits hard but it's so clean... I think I'm getting a sniff of the "holographic" soundstage, it'll take me some brain burn-in time to see how these compete with my VCs and Auteurs.

But so far, wow.

That is the way I felt too, much prefer open to closed, but the VC and even to a lesser extent some of his other closed HP's don't have that closed sound. I was amazed at how the VC's sounded at CanJam. Might even now prefer them, we''ll see when I can have them both here at the same time to compare.

I see you own the HEDDphone as well (which I do too) how would u compare the sound to the VO?
