I just bought an Eikon (again), I am going to pick it up today. Glad I got one before they decided to EOL it.
I wonder if/when we will get an Eikon 2.0..?

If they’re discontinuing the Auteur than probably not. There might be an issue with their supply chain for that biocellulose driver.I just bought an Eikon (again), I am going to pick it up today. Glad I got one before they decided to EOL it.

They actually have a new and improved headphone with a bio driver. This one is open back, but it sounds like a closed back version is in the works too.If they’re discontinuing the Auteur than probably not. There might be an issue with their supply chain for that biocellulose driver.

It's funny you say that (last sentence) because they actually are releasing a new version of the Auteur called the Auteur Classic. From what I understand it keeps the aesthetics of the current Autuer but uses the new damping system developed for the Atrium. Can't wait to hear reviews of it when it comes out and how it compares to the current Auteur. Unfortunately Zach made no mention of a new version of the Eikon other than releasing limited runs of them if demand dictates it.Interesting I’m reading that it’s more neutral than the Verite so probably not my ball of wax. It does have more bass quantity than them though. The grill on them look very nice.
For anyone wondering they’re called the ZMF Atrium and they have a unique dampening system. For my tastes I don’t think I’ll be buying one. These guys (Atticus and Eikon) are still classics for a reason.
Lol! Tell me that’s an empty wallet in the center of that circle....Just as said by @VanHai, these are staying put…:
That would make the most sense...and we do know Zach is always busy. He did hint at something being revealed, so we'll see!!Incase anyone hasn't heard, Eikon is being discontinued.
I kind of suspect that the new bio-cel driver could be used for a new closed-back (Eikon classic?). I'm kind of hyped for something like that.
HAS been discontinued. They are not on the web site anymore. The only closed back ZMF are now the VC and Atticus. They switched out a mid range closed for a new top tier open, keeping it at 5 models total (for now).Incase anyone hasn't heard, Eikon is being discontinued.
