I will be going to Japan in two weeks, specifically to Tokyo..my first time there and I am looking to purchase the PM-3 over there..can't buy them over here even they are assembled in RP..anyone here have experience shopping for headphones in Japan..any specific store to look for?

  why don't you email warren or alex regarding this.. I find no fault on the SE of my LC (as of now)..tried my A83, SR80i, 560..maybe yours has a defect and you can have it fixed.

  what headphones did you use?  the other person that experience this issue I think has his HE-6 plugged into the balanced..   I have no issues with this since I only use 1 headphone at a time..

  when I made my balanced cables for LC and DC-1 I also checked the grounding first, DC-1 XLR pin 1 and case and the RCA outer ring shares common ground..I tapped the case screws and I can also get continuity over them..the same with the LC,,however didn't bother to check the RCA since I have...

@Koolpep what's that schiit on top of the LC?  The width is the same with the LC, one thing I don't like on the LC is the width..it's not half rack size

yup I love my HE-560 thru the LC..never tried the SE plug of my LC..only the balanced plug hehe

  ^This or PM-3 gets my vote..based on the description of the Meze 99, it's a fun sounding headphone..try to check the initial reviews on it.

The thing I don't like in the PM-3..         is that I cannot even buy it here in our country...and the fact that irritates me most..is that it is assembled here in our country :(..been wanting to buy it for a while and no local audio stores carry it.

Wow glad to see this thread come back to life.  I have been using my iCAN to power my HE-560 at the office (acquired an iTUBE just lately).  However I was transferred to another project and can't use my HE-560.  Even if I am just using my A83, I still use the iCAN, however I can only go up to 9...

oh when I bought my pre-owned 560 they came along with an extra hifiman balance cable.. :D
