I think @paradoxper knows someone who makes them. I can't remember where we were discussing that the other day...
While acrylic boxes are pretty commonplace especially with stats, it was not I whom you were discussing mesh covers.

I personally am not going to trouble with different type of covers for any gear.

I'd love to see one of those
Maybe you can try to look for an building fitter that is specialized in shaping of sheet. Maybe they can custom build some kind of mesh plate or perforated metal plate or some kind of metal cage?

I'm getting old and forgetful, apparently. My bad. Apologies for summoning you.

I thought I’d show my setup. We moved to a new house last year with a bit more space, so I was able to have a stand made for my head-fi setup.

The stand was custom made by Core Audio Designs and features gorgeous flamed maple.

The WA-33 at the top is the Elite edition with the JPS wiring. Original tubes.

DAC is the Chord Hugo TT 2 with the M Scaler.

I typically listen using the Abyss Phi TC (complete version). I’ve had this setup now for nearly two years and adore it. I also occasionally use my Focal Utopias with this setup.

Plenty of room on the stand for other things. Not sure what that would be at the moment . . .

Gorgeous setup! Nothing wrong with the simplicity… if you love the sound, my recommendation would be to spend your money on more music! 😊🎶

Wa33 with susvara any thought?
Adequate with the standard WA33, but much better with the WA33 Elite JPS. I have had both versions of the WA33, and I was a tad bit disappointed with the Susvaras out of the standard version. When I got the Elite version, the Susvaras sounded much better. The Susvaras scale up very well.

** At their price, they had better ! On second thought, they shouldn’t have to scale up at all! They should be there already ! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

Anyone tried the new Calderas with the Woo @ColSaulTigh can share some impressions for the WA6-SE?

Also I liked the DCA Expanse which a friend brought by on the WA6-SE.

I’m not so much into open headphones but they sounded good with a bass punch (not as impactful as the Verité Closed though) but still good

I actually like that they keep scaling up with better equipment. The Susvaras have scaled up better than any of my other headphones. It keeps the chase alive. :L3000:

The gear need not keep ‘the chase alive’; we Head-Fiers are totally capable of that - at the merest hint or whim !! 🙂😕😒💸🙂😕…….

If I could I would gladly stop buying, but there is still so much important stuff to get...
