Far and away the Final Audio Design FI-BA-SS. It's something special. That single armature beats out every multi-BA I have ever heard. Custom or not.

JH Audio 10 x3 Pro.  I auditioned the JH 5, 7, 10 x3 Pro, and 13 from HeadRoom.  The triple crossover was a must to my ears and the 10 x3 Pro sounded the most neutral.  From a good amp they sound ridiculously good.

Straight from my iPod touch they sound good, but through the Balanced Ultra Desktop Amp they sound much more serious.

I like the Westone 4Rs for instrumental separation and detail, I can hear literally everything in the track. However, they do not give me the 'liveliness' and 'warmth' that I desire. Thus, for fun listening, I liked the Shure 535 limited red edition. These IEMs give me the punch and warmth I need when I listen to pop, electronic, trance. Just my opinion!

+1 Musical Fidelity EB50 (as of now)

amazing clarity, flat across the entire range, how MF achieved that i have no idea but listening to EB50 i have a problem now going to any of my older IEMs no matter warm sound or rich bass. EB50 articulate any music with a laser precision.

NB: not much experience with BA and my EB50 come after only X10, so i cannot rule out that i might change my opinion in the upgrading course :)

The 8A is one of the most musical IEMs I've heard yet :).

UE900 for me followed by the XBA3 and then the Ety HF3 which sounds very good for a single armature.
