Hello guys
Sorry if it has been answered (I could not find it in this thread) but is it possible to normalize the volume of each track somewhere in UAPP. I tried with replay gain but it's not working. I use bit perfect
It's really annoying when changing tracks and they sound different in volume 🙄
My guess is that you've to deactivate bit perfect to force replay gain for each track.
But I've never tried.

Tell it to Neutron MP

If you come across a music player with great UI w/ audiopile functions (DXD, DSD, MQA bitperfect playback, Networking/UPnP/DLNA support, DAC transport thru USB) post us a link.

again, the qobuz interface is relatively good with access to the most important information as in the original qobuz app. however, tidal is lacking.

What makes Hiby DAPs require the 'Native DSD for Hiby R5/R6/Pro' under 'Internal HiRes audio'?

my RS6 isn't listed, but without this checked get a loud beep when changing DSD tracks.

It's R2R so I think DSD is a bolt on accessory?

I seem to like the sound of the Hiby app with DSD a little more, maybe some settings are not right.

Hello, can anyone tell me the correct filename format for UAPP to show the song details correctly?

On my Android phone, I have a few albums named like this:

Artist – Album – 01.Song name

For those, I am getting Unknown artist during the song playback.

I have one album named like this:

01.Artist - Song name

For this, I am getting the Artist name correctly.

Besides that, how can I make UAPP show the Album art all the time? Because when I put my phone to sleep and open it again, a generic image is shown and not the album picture. I have one album picture saved inside each album folder.

Thank you
Anyone, please?

Anyone, please?

I'm pretty sure UAPP should be using the metadata from the tracks, not the filenames. How do have the files tagged?

If you are using LIBRARY: Artists, Album Artists, Albums Tracks etc. are taken from the file's metadata. If you're saying its in this section where the error lies, therefore the error is found in the metadata encoded in your music files. FOLDER views thru file name.

Thanks for your reply

I do not tag these files. I purchase them in .WAV format from Bandcamp and I download them on my laptop, then transferring them on my phone. The only player I currently have on this new laptop is SounDevil, and these files appear correctly there.

Try using Tagscanner

I have this box checked on RS6 and am very happy with UAPP DSD playback sonically.

Thank you! I will give it a try! :)

Do you know, if I have the album art in a picture stored inside the album folder, will UAPP show the picture correctly? Because when I put my phone to sleep and open it again, a generic image appears instead of the album art.

You can use tagscanner to embed the album art in the music file itself. I have seen an option in settings --> user interface --> prefer embedded art: please see it should be unchecked in case you have a folder/ cover.jpg in the folder.
