Oh I thought there were EQ presets you can download and use... Every player I tried had presets like Rock, Dance, Jazz, Bass+Treble, etc. I thought for $8 UAPP would have similar...

Those presets are most of the timùe really horrible !
As far as I am concerned I can't listen to a Rock track with the "Rock" preset enabled.
Not to mention is it totally impossible to listen to a classical piece with the Classical preset.

If you want to EQ to improve sound you should get a preset for your headpĥone and apply that.
You"ll discover a whole new world of music :wink:

Of course tyhat is a totally subjective AND personal opinion.

I never use the EQ Preset that matches what I listen to... I generally find one that sounds good to me period and use it.... If I found one for my headphone it might suck to me.... so Id rather start with a few presets and go from there
