Flip floped R & L should be the same as not flip flopped. Should be facing towards nozzle.

Personally I have a far more comfortable and better fit swapping R & L when flipping... everyone has different ears, its just all about trying all the variables and finding out what is best for each individual.

Just tried the flip mod and WOW the TF10 are much more comfortable to wear now.

I was having trouble with the left earphone coming out of my ear every once in a while, but now with the flip mod it allows me to insert the earpiece deep into the ear.  The sound is a bit more bassy too(which I actually prefer).

Like like a user a page back said, it's like I've finally discovered the full potential of these earphones 5 months later (picked mine up during BF as well).

I've had TF10 for some time and I find them to be one of the best IEMs I've used thus far.

Had my TF10 for about 2 or so years, but have not really been using them much for about 8 months since I picked up the Vsonic GR07's ( which are awesome price performance BTW ) So what to do? Did think about selling them as I wasnt using them. But there were loads and loads in the FS forum, so didnt fancy my chances there. Plus, no original cable as I gave that away, a bit scratched etc etc.

Now, im a bit of cable lover myself and was using a DIY DHC Necleotide cable with the TF's, which was nice, but wasnt an massive change to my ears. I was looking around on ebay one day and found the Toxic Cables stranded 7n silver wire for DIY use on there. I thought this is beyond my budget for an IEM cable but bought a couple of foot to make a new LOD with. To cut the story short, the TC silver LOD sounded so good I decided to pony up the cash for enough of the silver to make a TF to cable.

I have been using it for about a week - around 30 / 40 hours so far, and the change is just amazing! No more recessed mids, no more 'thick' sound. There just on a different level now. I belive there is a 'loaner' tour that is going to happen with the soon to be released Toxic Cables IEM cable. There some info on the Heir Audio appreciation thread about it. Cant remeber who is sorting it out - Waytoocrazy, help me out here man!

Now, im thinking about getting the TF's reshelled by Unique melody as they are a bit of a tight fit in my rather small ears:

But, I keep seeing reshelled TF10 in the FS - 'decided to cut my losses / fit issues etc' so not sure about that....

Anyway, the Toxic Cables Silver cable has sorted out the things that I disliked about the TF's and improved them to a rather amazing degree. If you can get on the loaner tour, or try the IEM cable out somehow, then jump on the chance.

Project86 indicated that it might come to fruition on the Loaner program.  Though, it all depends on what Frank wants to do. I actually have to hang my head low now... as I've found a buyer for my TF10, and I don't think I'd end up going back after getting CIEMS.... I do/did like them very much though.  Very clean presentation.  They did change nicely with the Toxic Cables copper too.  I liked the cleaner sound, tightened bass and improved mids, but I can't say that the mids were actually a leap better than before.  Good for Jazz, but not so good for the other genres I listen to (R&B).
