If you don't know what it is and what it does (and all graphic equalizers look and function basically the same, left to right), then it might not be best to mess with one.  However:

Has anyone tried this sd card?  Its $57 from amazon.  They even have a 256mb, but if I understand, the max for each slot on the x5 is 128mb?

No one will have tried because they would have a job fitting the card into a micro SD slot. Twice the width I'm afraid. 128 is Max of micro SD at present. Not sure slot had a 128 Max, where you read that?

You need to use an adapter to use that card. I used the full size cards with such an adapter on my X3. It worked fine. The adapters are less than $20.

Sure, but how far out of the device did the card extend?

What they are telling you, precisionmike, is that what you linked to is an SD card (for a camera), and the Fiio uses Micro SD cards, much smaller indeed.  From what I've read, only Sandisk has 128's at this point (that work).   However, people keep posting that they purchased off-brands and then those cards don't work.  Spend the money on a good card.  Or buy two 64gb micro cards from SanDisk or Adata.

Has anyone had any trouble getting the USB driver to work with their X5?

Hey folks. I saw this mentioned in the past, but I can't read 13,000 posts to see if it has been answered. Searching did not help.
Has there been any mention of FiiO looking to add Replay Gain capabilities to the X5 firmware?

I listened to mine for about 4 hours today... it is a bit of a pain to have to constantly do gain riding ...

I have also trouble installing usb dac driver.. gives me an error and exits..

Btw abot the EQ... i tried the left slider allt he way up for bass and the most right slider all the way up for treble as suggested by olddude.

This resulted not in more bass 0_0... All I noticed was the music becoming less loud...

Question.. where is the playlist stored of the Fiio X5 you create with the device. if I want to take it to my computer and back itup and or edit it?
