-and if using the X5 with the line out to a separate DAC, what should the battery time be then?

Thanks for the answer James, but does this affect the life expectancy as the battery will be charged fully as DAC, then a days use with 4 hours playback (so down to maybe 50%) and then back as DAC in the afternoon?

Thank´s for your fast reply, James!
Do you mean the same as with headphone out, 10 - 12 hours or 20 - 24 hours, as with coax?

They seem legit to me, but how can I tell if they are not? See the links below
Cards Front
Cards Back
They don´t look similar to mine, see attached pictures. First, there are some minor differences for the printing of the card (white text), then at the back or the retail box, your say´s SDHC, but 64 Gb should be SDXC, right? Also, the printing for the front of the retail box are different. Then your adapter has a red label on it.
When I for a couple of weeks ago, bought two No name 64 Gb Micro cards (black) from ebay, I experienced the same as you - it says about 62 Gb in the PC, but after transferring with a speed of 2 - 5 Mbyte/s, most of the folders was empty, and they only was about 4 - 5 Gb/ each. With the Sandisk Ultra cards, everything seems ok, and the transfer speed was about 7 - 10 Mbyte/s.
You can verify if your cards is genuine/ authentic, if sending info and pictures to Sandisk support. Also, an authorized seller can be found here:

And @aangen, real sorry about this (since you told me to just get the X3); that delay in my paycheck is causing me to rethink the "X3 or X5" debate yet again
He says he installed DVDAE, which is DVD-Audio Extractor, is DVD-Audio Explorer a different program?
I am not sure why the trial would expire immediately after installing. Is it possible that you installed the program once before?
If you just installed Windows what OS were you using before,Linux?
These are pictures of mine, first thing i noticed on yours is that the text on the back is printed on it, not "engraved", and on the front you have the class 10 markings, while i have the UHS class 1 marking.
And it seems like the ink on yours was printed horizontally, while mine's both done vertically.
I don't know if any of this is actually physical evidence of fake vs real though.
FWIW from the SanDisk website: Only Ultra PLUS cards have the UHS marking (U), the non-Plus cards all have the Class 10 logo 'only'.
Ultra UHS-1 Card: Ultra PLUS UHS-1 Card:
Me thinks the fakes are ones that have the (U) marking but no 'PLUS' text...
They both hold 64GB, reach the speeds they should, and i bought them from a retail store...if these are fakes, they're the best i've ever had.
Well, the info I posted is just what SanDisk put on their website, so it's anybodies guess if it's totally accurate.
I got an idea....you could always call SanDisk customer service with your serial numbers and ask if they're legit...if it's that important.
