well i have the rock setting, but trying to push bass more this player seems bass lite compared to my plenue D

Then you have no choice but to raise the sliders yourself. It's not scary. You won't break anything. Just make it sound the way you want.

Actually, to be honest, the best way is to lower all the other frequencies, and keep the bass at 0. That way you avoid distortion and clipping.

20Hz-250Hz covers the bass range. So keep those at 0, and lower all the other sliders.

Thanks Leo.

Recently updated from 2.4 to 2.6. Wow huge difference in wheel scroll functionality. Made me love my x5 again.

Thanks.

  nice, if you want some BASS there are 2 threads in particular that will help as a lot of users have or had X5's.
Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread --> http://www.head-fi.org/t/761433/head-fi-basshead-iem-thread-lists-page-1

for  overear/on ear 'phones -->  http://www.head-fi.org/t/716711/the-hardest-hitting-headphones-are-the-extreme-bass-club

they both have a lot of reading to do for you

apologies for thread members & getting off topic here
